Aetna Select
(EPO)
The Aetna Select (EPO) plan provides in-network care only (except for emergencies) and requires selection of a Primary Care Physician (PCP). Your PCP will personally provide your care or will need to obtain a referral from Aetna for your specialty care. Members should always confirm that their referral has been approved and issued by Aetna prior to obtaining care or services from a provider who is not their designated PCP.
Aetna Health Fund
(HSA)
The Aetna Health Fund (HSA) plan pairs a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account (HSA) funded to cover some or all of your deductible. You may also deposit pre-tax dollars in your account to cover medical expenses. The HDHP is built around a large national network of health care providers and allows you to see specialists and out-of-network doctors without a referral.
Aetna Traditional
(PPO)
The Aetna Traditional (PPO) plan is built around a large national network of health care providers and allows you to see specialists and out-of-network doctors without a referral. Copays and coinsurance for in-network doctors are lower than out-of-network providers.
